"SPEAKEASY" WINS TWO GLOBAL MUSIC AWARDS

Each year, Global Music Awards receives hundreds of entries from around the world. Entries are judged in an International competition, not just an American competition. This year seventy-five countries participated with thousands of entries. To receive a Global Music Award honor the music must stand-out internationally, across cultures. Paula's "Speakeasy" was a finalist in the "Best Album" category and also recognized as the top "Jazz Blues Acoustic Fusion".

ALL ABOUT JAZZ, the largest online jazz magazine, featured two of Paula's original songs from her "Speakeasy" Album as "Track of the Day". "Nothing Good Happens After Midnight" on July 12, 2019 and "Something Wicked" on October 29, 2019. Music Critic, Photo- Journalist and writer also offered a wonderful  full-length review of "Speakeasy" on October 19, 2019.

Paula's original song "Haunted" ( Arranged by Paula And Nate Ginsberg) is in the final 40 ( out of 20,000 entries) for "Best Performance of The Year" With the prestigious International Songwriting Competition.

Paula is forming NEW BAND "Souled Out" with  or without the hot horns

Paula will be teaming up with a band of Elite musicians on the east coast. With Greg Alewine and Tim Blackwell from Anderson University, Steve Watson of Furman and the Fine Arts Program in Greenville, Hazen Bannister of Clemson University and a horn section led by Mike Gibilisco.

The Northern California Entertainers Music Awards (NCEMA) is the largest California award show which spotlights California entertainers/bands, music and media. Music is a universal language; therefore, the goal of this annual event is to spotlight, support, and strengthen the value of the art of entertainment and its importance to our communities. Paula has received past nominations ( and wins) in the "Entertainer of the Year", "Band of the Year" and "Vocalist of the Year" categories. Paula is nominated for the NINTH time in 2020 for "Best Female Blues Vocalist"
